Findings of China Web 2.0 Report by ISC

Internet Society of Chian (ISC) released its report on China web 2.0 current situation and development trend survey.
I filled the questionnaire several month ago and I remenber that in one of my article, I mentioned the study and mentioned I am looking forward to its result. Only simplfied report was released. I need to pay around 800 Euro to read the complete one. Anyway, the simplified version is OK for me.
The report has the following findings.
1. Awareness of web2.0 is very low, 73.3% of respondents don't know web2.0.
Web 2.0 is a term from the Western countries and only among internet savvy. So the result is understandable.
2. Blog is becoming an important web2.0 information distribution channel. 9.8% of internet users get knowledge about web2.0 from blogs.
3. Blogging service by tradition portal may overperform those of blogging service providers. Sina blog and Sohu blog rank No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, just followed Bokee.
I question this finding personally. According to another research, MSN space is the No.1. blog host service in China followed by QQ, bokee. Sina blog service for me is only a mass garden of celebrity collection, a desplay place to show how less educated Chinese celebrities can be especially those movie/TV stars.
4. Users prefer online rss readers than desktop readers. 60.8% users only use online rss reader, while the percentage of users who only use desktop software is 14.6%.
5. RSS news reading has not been the major news reading methods, 50.9% users read news by rss feed occasionally.
6. 87.1% rss users changed their reading habits after subscribing to rss feeds.
7. 60% users are against charging membership fee on social networking service.
8. Social bookmarking service are used frequently, more than 70% users use it at least once a week, and 14.5% use it daily.
9. The most important factors to influence the users' choice on podcasting service are speed (42.1%), storage spaces (29.8%) and convenience to upload (28.7%);
10. Most of the users get to know podcasting from internet, rather than from newspaper and magazine(18.2%), television(10.7%) or radio(8.8%).
